Changelog

1.0.0

  • Foundation release. Ships the plugin bootstrap, settings storage, the admin settings screen and the public extension seam. It does not yet emit structured data.
  • Added
  • Plugin bootstrap with header, `ENTITYSCHEMA_SEO_FOR_ASSETS_VERSION` / `_FILE` / `_DIR` constants and `ABSPATH` guards on every executable PHP file.
  • Settings option `entityschema_seo_for_assets_settings`, seeded on activation with `enabled => 1` only when the option is absent, so reactivation preserves configuration.
  • Core singleton `Entityschema_Seo_For_Assets` with a public static `settings()` accessor that merges stored values over defaults and tolerates a corrupted option.
  • Master kill switch: when `enabled` is falsy, the plugin's `init` routine returns before firing any extension point.
  • Public action `entityschema_seo_for_assets_init`, fired on `init` with the effective settings array, as the single extension seam for output modules.
  • Admin settings screen at Settings > EntitySchema SEO for Assets, registered with the `manage_options` capability and re-checking that capability on render.
  • Save handler on `admin_post_entityschema_seo_for_assets_save` with a capability check, `check_admin_referer()` nonce verification, and a POST/Redirect/GET redirect to a `?updated=1` success notice.
  • Admin code loaded only inside `is_admin()`, keeping the settings layer off front-end requests.
  • Translation loading from `/languages` on `plugins_loaded` under the text domain `entityschema-seo-for-assets`.
  • Uninstall routine, guarded by `WP_UNINSTALL_PLUGIN`, that deletes the plugin's single option and nothing else.
